It will take you 1 hour to get to Colorado (or almost) and believe us it's worth the detour. In this old ocher quarry, the scenery will be total. The walk is on foot and you will have the possibility of choosing between 2 routes: one of 40 minutes and the second of 1 hour 45 minutes. These circuits are quite achievable with your children, they are even recommended, because they will be amazed and they can run without you losing sight of them. Small personal recommendation, avoid white shoes if you don't want them to change color. The price to access the car park is 5 € per car. Once parked, you can access the site for free. It is also possible to take a guided tour for € 8 per adult and € 2 per child under 12.

These two beaches, which are approximately 1h15 from the Mas des Écoliers, are ideal for your children. These are fine sandy beaches and the sea is suitable for swimming, as the descent into the water is a gentle slope. In addition to basking in the water or in the sun, you can visit these two seaside towns.

Le Grau du Roi and Saintes-Maries de la Mer

You can swim in one of the small beaches in this town, located 1.5 hours from here. It’s not close, but the drive is definitely worth it. The turquoise water, the pebble beaches and the majestic creeks will quickly make you forget your time spent on the road. You will love to relax in the sun in one of the restaurants in town or take a walk on one of the hiking trails, but you can also take a boat or canoe trip. What better way to have a great day? In order to start your day in style, we strongly advise you to go to the Soubeyranes cliffs which will offer you an exceptional view of the entire coast. It is preferable to go there in the morning, because this place is really popular with tourists who come in droves during the day. You can see yourself there already, don't you? A little patience, the holidays are coming soon!
