Originally from the Centre region of France, with family roots in Ardèche and a special connection to Avignon, where I spent all my childhood holidays, I had always dreamed of one day living in the South.
After several moves for professional reasons and a few years spent living in apartments in Paris and then Lyon, the opportunity we had been waiting for finally came. Within just a few weeks, we decided to change our lives and move to the countryside with our children. It was a rather bold decision, but one we have never regretted.
At the same time, one dream had always stayed with me: to one day create a welcoming place, somewhere to host guests, share experiences and offer a truly memorable stay. The idea had first emerged a few years earlier, when we discovered a place we instantly fell in love with in Ardèche, where we got married, although we had no idea yet what form this dream would eventually take.
Then, one day, everything fell into place. The owner of the neighbouring mas contacted us to offer us the opportunity to buy his house and reunite the two parts of the property, just as they had once been when his parents lived there. We could not let such an opportunity pass us by: the adventure of Mas des Écoliers was about to begin.
Why Mas des Écoliers?
With three children, we know how organising a family holiday can sometimes raise many questions: Is the accommodation suitable for young children? Will there be enough space to play? Will the facilities be practical for everyday life?
That is why we imagined Mas des Écoliers as a home where everyone can feel at ease: a place designed for families, groups of friends, reunions and shared moments.

Today, Mas des Écoliers also welcomes wellness retreats and corporate events, always with the same ambition: to create meaningful escapes from everyday life in an authentic and welcoming setting.
